Welcome

The Niagara Frontier Bicycle Club proudly presents the 7th annual Can Am Century/Metric Century ride. Experience the Niagara Parkway that Sir Winston Churchhill described as "the prettiest Sunday drive in the world." Imagine if he could have seen it from a bike. Visit the world class destinations of Niagara Falls, Ontario and Niagara Falls, New York. Make sure you have your camera with you.

The 100 mile route passes through the beautiful villages of Lewiston, Youngstown and Niagara-On-The-Lake, also wine country on the Niagara Peninsula in Ontario.

The 62 mile "metric century" is basically a Buffalo to Niagara Falls route, going to the Falls on the Canadian side of the Niagara River and returning on the American side.

There will be a 35 mile 'City' ride available on Sunday that does NOT go into Canada. Some must-see city gems and highlights in Buffalo's northern suburbs and Niagara River waterfront are part of this route.

The Niagara Frontier Bicycle Club will assist you in your cycling excursion by providing conveniently-spaced rest stops with refreshments and enthusiastic volunteers who will cheer you on your way. We will have sag wagon support in case of mechanical (or physical) breakdowns. After the ride, there will be sandwiches, snacks and beverages at the ride start/finish to rejuvenate you.

A casual Architectural Tour ride will be offered Saturday. This 25 mile ride will visit some of Buffalo's great architectural gems.

Need more of a challenge on Saturday? Join the NFBC on one of their club rides that goes past the Graycliff mansion, a summer home near Lake Erie designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for an early 20th century Buffalo industrialist. This ride will be about 52 miles (42 mile option available) and will include some moderately hilly terrain.

Saturday night, the NFBC invites you to a social get-together at the Fontana Boathouse (where all the rides will start). Drinks and finger food will be available. The Saturday night event is free, but be sure to bring some stories of your cycling adventures.

Space is limited to 300 riders, so sign up soon to reserve your slot.
